Rapture Preparedness for Others

Navigating Your Loved Ones Through the Rapture

We all have people in our lives who we’ve tried to share the Gospel of Jesus to but they have rejected the message. Whether it’s kids, parents, siblings or friends, or even a spouse, we’ve developed a bond with some people and we wish they would make it to Heaven with you more than they want it for themselves. It grieves us being worried about whether our loved ones lives will ever turn around and accept the forgiveness GOD has offered through His Son Jesus dying on the cross. The thought of eternity without that person can cause many a sleepless night, especially if it’s a child that has gone wayward.

GOD wants us to continue to pray & intercede for those He has brought to our attention – to never give up on them, no matter how far they may have strayed in our eyes. Even Job from the Bible prayed & offered sacrifices to GOD on behalf of his own children, just in case they may have rejected GOD. We never know from that story where their mindsets were at at the time of their untimely deaths.

In the Book of Daniel, we also see a man who prays and repents on behalf of the entire nation of Israel. What a concept to intercede for his entire nation’s sins. You can read it in Daniel chapter 9. Here is part of his prayer:

I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:

“Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.

“Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, Lord, because we have sinned against you. The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him; 10 we have not obeyed the Lord our God or kept the laws he gave us through his servants the prophets. 11 All Israel has transgressed your law and turned away, refusing to obey you.

This prayer was prayed after the entire nation of Israel was exiled to Babylon, and not allowed to return for over 70 years. If Daniel had not prayed, perhaps they would have been there for longer, but Daniels prayer worked and many soon after were allowed to return to the Promised Land. It’s important to realize that you too can pray, repent and intercede for the people who are dear to you.  While we are still here, there are ways to learn to share the Gospel that are more indirect and less offensive such as:

  1. Just asking questions like: “Do you ever think about the afterlife?”
  2. Sometimes the only gospel some will ever hear is the one you live.
  3. Giving a gift or your time for no reason, just to stimulate conversation.
  4. Look for clues that a person may be looking for answers in their life. Never make them wrong. Just be open and compassionate.
  5. Look for entry points that someone else brings up to you in conversation, and try to casually steer it towards conversation about salvation.

For all your loved ones you need to stand on the promises of GOD like in Acts 16: 31 … “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” The ONE thing that GOD is obligated to is His Word – it is the only thing He places above His Names Psalm 138:2. Make declarations over them as often as you think of them (Job22:28) “God, so and so shall know you, turn to You and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They will hear Your Voice and follow the destiny You have chosen for their life and will live a life pleasing to You, before it is too late for them, according to Your promise in Acts 16. Amen.

Even if they miss the Rapture, they will probably suspect that its probably because they didn’t heed the call to salvation. That’s why we created this website – so that in the event of your passing (rapture or death), that in your last will & testament, you can complete the work that you started with great resources to keep them learning about how to get to Heaven. This is especially important if the Bible is no longer available. The Tribulation Survival Kit comes with 100 languages of the Bible and many more educational tools to assist them in making the right decisions for the rest of their lives.
